'Unearthed' - Battling Blight

One of the last projects I did this year was a project with the Woodland Trust. The theme was ‘unearthed’, and we showed the photos in a pop-up exhibition in Heartwood Forest in Hertfordshire. I decided to try the idea of burying film again, and it was much more interesting than last time I tried it, I think because I left it buried for longer and had the use of a much better film scanner to pick up the detail. Here are photos of my final chosen photo and its print, and the handout I made for the exhibition explaining the idea.

Portraiture Project - Roller Derby Portraits

In February this year, I had my sister visit me at university so I could photograph her in the studio for my portraiture project. I took inspiration from photographer Michael Clark's photographs of athletes.

Still Life Project - Osiris Skate Shoes

Now that I've finished my first year of university, I'm planning on sharing some of the photo projects I've been doing, seeing as I haven't posted on here for so long. I'll start with this set of photos of Osiris skate shoes in various skate positions in mid air, which I took for my still life project. This was my first time properly using the studio and its equipment so I was proud of the results.
