Ralfe Band with Trip 35

I've recently come to the end of my stash of Kodak Ultramax 400, which I bulk-bought at Poundland a while ago. This last roll (used with my Trip 35) mainly consisted of photos of the excellent Ralfe Band.

 

I also used up the end of the film on random things while we were in Manchester, and of course here is the obligatory start-of-the-roll photo.

 

And before that I used the roll at other gigs such as Matt Berry (& Mark Morriss) in Liverpool, and Mark Morriss with his band in Leicester.

Overall this film, with the Trip 35, hasn't been too bad (especially for £1 a roll) but I think now I'll look for something else more suited for gigs instead of just all-round use.

Cross Processed Velvia 50

I recently tried slide film and cross processing for the first time, with some Velvia 50. I mainly did it for my last photography project (hence the slightly random food photos at the end) but had about half a film left to use on whatever I fancied.

The results are very green and surprised me quite a lot. I like these crazy photos but I'm also planning on getting some more Velvia or other slide film to try this summer, not cross processed.

Art SOAK

Back in March I photographed a few of the things that went on as part of Art SOAK. Unfortunately quite a few of the events had to be rescheduled because of the snow, but some still went ahead including these which I photographed; Tom Cahill-Jones' installation 'Hinterland', an art exhibition by patients at St Andrew's Healthcare, a performance 'Fades, Braids and Keeping It Real' at Headmasters hairdressers, and a performance by singer-songwriter Max Merrick Wren at Leverton & Halls Cafe.
